The school’s Open Boys Football Team, coached by Mr N. T. Dlamini with the assistance of Mr Matsenjwa, has begun the season with promising performances during recent friendly matches aimed at preparing the team for upcoming competitions.
The first friendly match was played on Friday, 6 March 2026, at the St Paul’s School playground against Paul’s High School. The teams played three games of 30 minutes each, allowing the coaches to assess the players’ teamwork, fitness, and combinations on the field. The boys showed determination and good coordination throughout the games.
Another friendly match followed on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, at the Swazi National High School playground, where the team competed against Swazi National High School. This match continued to give the coaches an opportunity to test the team’s strength and evaluate the players’ preparedness ahead of the upcoming match scheduled for Friday, 13 March 2026.
Overall, the team delivered encouraging performances in both matches. One of the standout players was Mancoba “Nco”, who played an important role in midfield and contributed significantly to the team’s overall play, dominating the opponent and setting the tempo of the match.
