The school’s boys’ volleyball team delivered an outstanding performance at the Eswatini Sports Association (ESSA) Manzini Branch Volleyball Championships held at Olympia in Lobamba on 22 May 2026, proudly bringing home the second-place trophy and silver medals.

The team began the tournament strongly during the group stages, securing a convincing 2-0 victory over Moyeni High School. They continued their winning form against Salesian High School, overcoming a tough challenge to win 2-1, before defeating Mkhuzweni High School 2-0 to advance to the knockout stages.

In the semi-finals, the boys faced Swazi National High School in a highly competitive encounter. Demonstrating determination, teamwork and resilience, they emerged victorious with a 2-1 win to book their place in the final.

The championship match saw the team take on St Paul’s High School. Despite a spirited effort, the boys were unable to overcome their opponents and finished as runners-up after a 2-0 defeat. Their impressive campaign earned them silver medals for every player, a volleyball, and the prestigious second-place Manzini Region trophy.

The team’s achievement was celebrated during the school assembly on the following Monday, where the players proudly presented their medals and trophy before the entire school community.

This remarkable accomplishment means the team will now represent the Manzini Branch at the upcoming inter-regional ESSA Volleyball Championships, scheduled to be hosted by the Mliba Branch on 5 June 2026. The competition will bring together the top teams from different regions across the country.

The silver medal-winning squad consists of Sanele, Sibonginkhosi, Besuthwini (Captain), Simphiwe, Lindokuhle, Ido, Sukoluhle, Mukelo, Sambulo, Wazile, Sviwe and Vusimuzi.
